Brenda Parsons
Washington Irving, TwoTales: Rip Van Winkle and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, 1984
The “Two Tales” made a perfect choice for a dos-a-dos (two parts bound together, but in opposite directions). The covers are bound in black and tan goat skin with reversed color onlays and blind tooling. 27 x 18 x 2 centimeters. Created 2005.
I am a senior book conservator at the Etherington Conservation Services, and co-manage the book lab. I have worked for Don Etherington for the past eighteen years and studied with Monique Lallier for three years.
