Anthropodermic bibliopegy is the practice of binding books in human skin, usually from dissected cadavers. Many Ivy League universities hold these rare books in their libraries.
It’s rather morbid, but also incredibly interesting and kind of…romantic, when you think about it.

So it appears that you guys like to be guilt tripped because your votes got us to the second ‘page’ of the Art Directory this past week, which I think is pretty awesome. YOU ROCK! Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you!
Now the question is… How do you guys feel about sympathy votes? Because I totally got 3 wisdom teeth removed a few days ago and I think a few more recommendations for Book Art Enthusiasts might make me feel a bit better.. Maybe!
I mean, it’s worth a try, right? ;)

Finished the binding today.
It’s also the start of our intensive 2-week professional practice course. We’ve been encouraged to keep a sketchbook over the next fortnight to show on the last day. This will be mine.
